The Art of Colored Pencil: Illustration and Rendering Techniques, a free demonstration and workshop given by local artist Ann Thomas will be held on Saturday March 31st, from 1pm to 3pm. Ann will be teaching you how to paint with colored pencils! Learn basic pencil strokes, how to layer colors, create shadows, shape and form to make your images become luminous colored pencil illustrations! Ann Th…omas has illustrated children’s books, home renderings and greeting cards using this very portable and beautiful way of illustrating. This is a free event, all materials provided. Registration is recommended prior to the date of the event, as space is limited. Please sign up early, call, email or stop in the store to do so.
